Madrid, September 23rd, 2013. - César Hernández joins the Mahou San Miguel team as the new Marketing Director to lead the development of marketing activities and to manage the company's brands. Reporting to the General Manager, he will further Mahou San Miguel's commitment to keep the consumer at the centre of its strategy.
César Hernández graduated in Law and Business Administration at ICADE (Business and Law School) and has an International MBA from ESADE (Business School). He began his professional career at SEAGRAM, where he worked for 11 years occupying various positions until becoming Director of Marketing and Business Planning. In 2003, he joined DIAGEO ESPAÑA as On-Trade Transformation Manager before taking on the role as international consultant at DIAGEO MEXICO and DIAGEO WESTERN EUROPE and, since 2010, has been Director of Marketing at DIAGEO IBERIA.
Meanwhile, his predecessor, Javier Herrero-Velarde, embarks on a new project within the company as General Manager of the recently created New Business Unit, which aims to foster new growth opportunities for Mahou San Miguel.
